Amazon Customer Review : This book not only gives a description of the different types of teas, it tells how they are processed from the same plant to make the different teas and the history of tea from China to India, to Japan, to Europe, to America. There is a whole section on terminology used for herbal teas, how to grow, cultivate, harvest, dry and store them.

Montana Tea & Spice Peppermint Tea Review

An Excellent Bagged Peppermint Tea

Summary : This is an excellent bagged peppermint tea straight from the tea capitol of the world...Missoula, Montana. If you enjoy the so-so supermarket brands of peppermint tea, you'll love this tea...as it is far better than those stale and generic peppermint tea off the shelf in your local store.

Review : Montana and tea? Hardly the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Montana, is it? I mean, Montana is home of the unibomber, grizzly bears, lousy winters, superb fishing and beautiful scenery. But tea? Give me a break you must be thinking. And admittedly, I was a bit jaded about it myself...despite having lived in Montana for more than 6 years!

Yet, one nice thing about Christmas is that you never know what will show up. And lo and behold, this past Christmas I found myself with a small bag of bagged peppermint tea from a company I never heard of before...Montana Tea and Spice.

My friend sent me two samples, one of peppermint tea and another one, of course, of huckleberry tea.

And so tonight, after a lousy dinner of home-made Stir Fried Rice, I needed to settle my stomach and so a need for peppermint tea arose. And I fgured, why not give this tea from Montana a try?

Like any peppermint tea, this one packs a nice aromatic punch...despite being a bagged tea. Make no mistake, when you open up the bag...this tea says peppermint all over it.

And happily, that is exactly what it tasted like too. A very high quality, bagged peppermint tea. Now...I'm not gonna say it is quite in the same league as a quality loose-leaf peppermint tea. But truthfully, it does come awfully close. And being in the bagged form does have its benefits too...such as no teapot to clean or peppermint leaves to dust off the kitchne floor.

Now, I visited the Montana Tea & Spice website. At the time of this writing, It is basically your all-too typical Montana e-commerce website...horribly designed with no shopping cart at all. You have to print up the order form and mail it in, or phone it in which would probably be easier. However, I did look over the teas they have...and much to my surprise they have a very extensive line of teas...many in small sampler sizes.

Recommendation : Yes. Assuming you can find it, this is one of the best, if not the best, bagged peppermint tea I've had. While it can't quite stack up to a quality loose-leaf peppermint tea...for a bagged tea...this tea does come awfully close.
