An Excellent and Exceptionally Flavorful Spearmint Tea

Summary : This is yet another super tea from Culinary Teas. If you like spearmint, I can't possibly see how you will not fall in love with this tasty, flavorful and down-right delicious tea.

Review : I love spearmint. Plain and simple. Wish I had another answer to explain this love, but I don't. Quite simply, spearmint and myself are just meant to go hand in hand.

As such, during my last order through Culinary Teas I felt absolutely compelled to order their Organic Spearmint Tea. I already loved their non-organic Spearmint Tea, so I had few doubts that I would like this one too. And happily, I was right.

Like most other spearmint teas on the market, this tea contains exactly one ingredient : spearmint leaves. The leaves for this tea come from Oregon in the Willamete Valley.

Now, let me be up front about this tea. It IS a spearmint tea. The aroma alone is likely to make you stand back and say, whoa, what a strong smell.

And of course, that is exactly what you want from a quality spearmint tea. To be knocked out of your shoes by a hearty fragrance and an incredibly robust spearmint flavor.

And this tea delivers it in spades. The fragrance of the leaves out of the bag are nearly overpowering, and the taste is, well, of very, very strong spearmint. I actually think that this tea is better, flavor wise, than the non-organic spearmint tea sold through Culinary Teas.

For anyone in search of a high-quality spearmint tea, and if you've read some of the reviews on this site, you may be perplexed about what to get. I would say that this tea is equal to, perhaps even slightly more flavorful, than Adagio's Spearmint Tea as well as Culinary's own Spearmint Tea that is non-organic. And, since this tea is organic, I will give this tea the nod in terms of quality. In short, this particular spearmint tea is now my favorite.

Recommendation : Yes, Yes, Yes. Need I say more. OK. I will. This is perhaps the finest spearmint tea on the market today, bar none. And it's organic too.
