Bigelow Cinnamon Apple Herbal Tea
Apple Juice it is not
Summary : A rather unenjoyable bagged tea that has
a moderately strong cinnamon taste that is ruined by the hint of apple
in the tea.
Review : Do you like apples? How about apple juice?
If so, I have good news - you can save yourself some money by not purchasing
Do you like cinnamon? Such as the nice taste of cinnamon toothpaste?
Or the cinnamon taste from a tic-tac? If so, I also have good news -
you can save yourself some money by not purchasing this tea.
Now. that all said, if you do like the basic taste of cinnamon, it is possible you
might like this tea. However, it is only possible because the cinnamon
taste of this tea, is, well, different. I suppose this different taste
shouldn't be surprising, considering what all is found in this tea. This
tea consists of apples (where???), cinnamon, hibiscus flowers, orange
peel, natural flavors (such as...???), rose hips, lemon peel, rose blossoms,
and licorice root.
As you can see, this tea consists of a rather wide variety of ingredients,
no doubt leading to its peculiar taste. You do get a moderately strong
taste of cinnamon with this tea. However, due to all the other ingredients,
the taste gets warped into a strange, rather nasty "fruity cinnamon" taste,
for lack of a better way to describe it. And the taste of apple is nowhere
to be found.
Overall, if you are in search of a tea that tastes like apple or cinnamon
or both, well, keep searching as you won't readily find it in Bigelow's
Cinnamon Apple Herbal Tea.
Recommendation : No, but is worth a try if in a adventurous
