Impra Strawberry Flavored
Black Tea Review
A Poor Strawberry Flavored
Tea
Summary : Not a tea that people in search of either
a black tea or a strawberry tea are likely to enjoy.
Review : I'm a sucker for cheap teas. And for that
reason, I couldn't pass up on the chance to pick up a box of strawberry
flavored black tea. True, you normally do get what you pay for in life,
but for 50 cents for a box of 25 tea bags...it was worth the risk.that
went by the label "Global Brands." Global Brands, in fact, is simply
a private
label
name
for tea
put out
by Impra
Teas.
The tea hardly had an inspiring brand name, as the label on the tea
said "Global Brands," not exactly a name that will make tea lovers line
up for fresh stocks of tea. However, "Global Brands" is simply a private
label name for Impra Teas here in the United States...apparently anyone
can import their teas and slap their name on the label.
Now, I love strawberries...and as such I'll pretty much give any tea
a try that has strawberry in the label a whirl.
My first impression of this tea wasn't bad...as the tea had a pretty
strong strawberry aroma about it. And for a strawberry tea...having a
good fragrance of strawberries is a good sign.
However, the flavor of this tea was pretty sad. People who were hoping
for a strong black tea won't find it here...which isn't really surprising.
However, the big surprise was the lackluster strawberry flavor of the
tea. You'll get some strawberry flavor here...but it is hardly strong,
pungent or memorable.
Overall, this tea was a disappointment. It isn't drain cleaner, but
anyone in search of a strawberry flavored tea will be best to keep searching
for other teas to try.
Recommendation : No. This is neither a good black tea
nor a enjoyable stawberry tea.
