About Tea DiscussionI drink lots of tea. And I make websites. So one day while drinking tea and working on one of my own websites, the thought occurred to me that I should write up reviews about the tea that I drink. And with that thought, the idea of TeaDiscussion.Com was born. As I flushed out the idea more, I realized that besides offering tea reviews, I should also cut through some of the rumors running around about the health benefits of tea, as well as provide detailed information about the types of tea that are available. This information is especially important for people in the US, many of whom are discovering tea for the first time. Additional information on this site, I realized, had to include things like how to brew tea, what teaware you need and a few other tidbits of information that is not easily found all-in-one-place online. For the record, I'm not a professional "tea connoisseur", whatever that may be. I'm just a normal person who happens to like tea - especially tea in the loose-leaf form. Lastly, I realized that people should be able to leave comments, good or about, on this site. So I installed a nifty little comment script on each tea review page. So feel free to tell me what you like about my reviews...and what you don't. Just be nice! A Note About the ReviewsA food or beverage review site is, rather obviously, subjective. What I like, you may not. And what you may like, I may not. That is the nature of personalized taste. Unlike review sites that deal with "hard goods" of one kind - which can usually be measured in independent and statistical ways, there really is no good "way" to measure tea except for how it tastes. And taste is a totally subjective thing. With that said, it's important to note that the reviews on this site simply reflect my own taste buds - which more than a few people have noticed tend to run counter to mainstream American (I hate coffee, for instance, and REALLY enjoyed a bubble gum tea I had). So with that disclaimer in mind, I hope you enjoy Tea Discussion.Com!
